Williamson County needs responsible leaders who will maintain a strict focus on the needs of our current residents as we continue to grow. We need a board of commissioners who govern with civility and dedication, with an emphasis on the health, landowner rights, education and social needs of our children.

I am running, because I am that person! I am ready to serve as your Commissioner for Precinct 2.

I have served our nation and its communities my entire life. Serving as a County Commissioner is a natural progression of my life of service.

I graduated from West Point and served 24 years in the Army, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. While in the military, I served throughout the world defending our nation. I also served as a Civil Engineer with the Corps of Engineers where I managed the construction and maintenance of a 250 unit housing division overseas.

After the military, I served as a business leader here in Williamson County, working as a project manager, applications engineer manager and export compliance expert.

Through all of my adult life, I have been a service minded advocate for our community. I donate my time and talents to: the Leander Veterans of Foreign Wars (Lifetime Member); The Austin Children’s Shelter; SAFE Place (Stop Abuse for Everyone); Moms Demand Action; Rotary (Paul Harris member and former President); Wilco Black Dems; Sandy Hook Promise; Forward Thinking Texans; Women of Hope (founding member) and Wilco Volunteer Deputy Registrar.

I look forward to serving Williamson County in this new capacity.

As a former candidate for Williamson County Commissioner, Precinct 2, I gladly endorse Brigid for County Commissioner.

Forgetting politics and looking soley at the candidate who actually shows caring for the constiuents of Precinct 2, and a candidate who is not beholden to the special interest groups who pad her pockets, I have chosen to back LT COL Brigid Lester. The time is now, for a change in leadership for Precinct 2, and I proudly support Brigid for County Commissioner.

I am proud to endorse Brigid Lester for Pct 2 County Commisioner. As a life long Republican, retired Chief of Police and the retired Chief Deputy of Williamson County, I am very familiar of the importance of having ethical and proven leaders as elected officials. Brigid is a retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel, a rank very few ever achieve. Her ethics, critical thinking skills and unwavering suppport for law enforcementis sorely needed.

If you care about Public Safety, Brigid Lester should be your ONLY choice for Pct 2, County Commissioner. I fully support her.

Kenneth E. Evans

Chief Deputy (retired) WCSO

We landowners in Williamson County have suffered under the poor leadership, persecution and neglect by the County Commissioner Cynthia Long for almost two decades. Her failure to serve the current residents, disregard or encourage out of control growth and depletion of resources threaten our way of life and prosperity. Brigid Lester is the steady hand, common sense decision maker, and servant of the people that we need to lead Williamson County through these critical and challenging times. With a career serving our republic and extensive public and private organizational experience, she has our endorsement and support.

I enthusiastically support Brigid Lester for Williamson County Commissioner – Place 2. Brigid is a West Point grad, a retired Army Lt. Colonel, a past Rotary Club President, and a true pillar of our community. She will bring professionalism, empathy, and common sense to this important position in Williamson County.

Brigid Lester is a voice of bipartisanship that our courts need during these fraught times in our comunity. I look forward to voting for Brigid!
